Insects are a more sustainable source of protein as they emit the least amount of greenhouse gasses – 97% less greenhouse gas than traditional livestock, cutting down the 106 million tonnes of carbon the pet food industry creates (more than the carbon footprint of Jabodetabek area). They have a life cycle of approximately 6 weeks (shorter than poultry, fish, cows, sheep, and chicken) which means insect protein can be harvested more frequently using less water, land and energy. Besides that, we have made the conscious decision to create packaging fully made of LDPE to ensure they are easily recyclable and accepted by your local recycling facilities.
